Justice Rules - by Js Dickens & Janet Dickens & Janet Sierzant (Paperback)

About the Book

A powerful novel of betrayal, survival, redemption, and one woman's determination to make justice mean something.

Book Synopsis

Justine Morgan has spent her life believing in justice. She never imagined she would have to fight for her own.

When the man she loves pulls her into a crime she never intended to commit, Justine is swept into a legal system that sees only guilt. Convicted and sent to prison, she enters a world of violence, desperation, and women whose stories are far more complicated than their crimes.

Behind bars, Justine discovers something no courtroom ever taught her: justice and the law are not always the same thing.

As she begins using her legal knowledge to help other inmates, the women give her a new name-Justice. But fighting for others forces Justine to confront the failures that put her behind bars and decide whether she has the courage to fight for herself.

From the confines of a prison cell to a life she must rebuild from the ground up, Justine discovers that freedom is more than walking through an open gate-and sometimes the people society has written off are the ones most deserving of a second chance.
