Q: Just bought a Keurig K-70 coffee maker from a thrift store & did the pre brew sequence. Made first cup and now the menu says to "descale". We use distilled water. Do we really need to descale?
A: We recommend descaling your brewer every 3 to 6 months depending on your water quality. Scale is harmless, but if left unattended, it can hinder optimal brewer performance. Descaling your brewer regularly helps maintain the heating element, removable water reservoir and other parts of the brewer that come in contact with water. You can find descaling video instructions here:http://krg.bz/2wHyPzo. Also, you can use distilled water in your Keurig brewer but we don't recommend it because it can change the taste profile of your coffee by making it bitter.

Q: Can I use this solution in my Nespresso but adjusted to the correct quantity for it?
A: I have been using it on my nespresso for the last 3 times, as the nespresso packages are no sold anywhere, you never know when you have to descale, so ordering isn't realistic. I have had no issues.
