Barely works from the start then gets worse as you use it
My girls are obsessed with kinetic sand and play with it every day so we were excited about this flower set. Unfortunately it works the first few times then after that the sand stays so packed in the mold and on the squishy base that it becomes completely useless. Even after you clean it off it has a bit of residue that keeps the sand sticking to it that makes the kit unusable. Love everything else from kinetic sand but this one was a bust.

Our 5 year old loves kinetic sand. This was a major flop - the holes in which you pack the sand in are so small that they don’t empty when you try to make the flower, just makes a frustrating mess for any child. Save your $ or get a different kinetic sand kit!

Not worth it
We have a lot of Kinetic Sand toys and this one is awful. The sand does not come in bags, it’s covered with cardboard. Even with better sand this mold doesn’t work. I did manage to get it to work with playdoh so I will keep it since it was inexpensive but I would recommend skipping it.

Squishy fun
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had a lovely time playing with the Kinetic Sand Squishbloom Blooming Flower. My kids are big fans of Kinetic Sand and I'm a big fan of how easy it is to clean up! No worries about it getting stuck to their clothes or hair. We had a lot of fun creating the blooms and then picking the petals off so they could be squished again. A great hands-on activity that kept my kids engaged. The colours were very vivid and the molds were very easy to use.

So much sensory fun
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very fun and extremely satisfying sensory kit. This can provide hours of fun and works on fine motor skills and encourages creativity. The sand never dries out. Its incredibly easy to wipe or sweep away, and it doesnt stain furniture or clothing. The moulds are tricky to use for small hands, which is why its recommended for ages 5+. My 3 year old really enjoyed making his own shapes and squishing the sand between his hands. The set comes with two colours, pink and yellow. We mixed them to create orange! There are additional moulds on the bottom of the flower pot. The blooming flower was a bit tricky to use at first, but after a few tries, I got the hang of it. This is a really neat activity and has so many uses beyond making the flowers. I recommend this!

Cool idea but the product sticks to the applicator

Cute, fun and compact
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I may not be a fan of sand but my daughter clearly loves this kinetic sand. It's an interesting texture for sure. It does claim for no mess while it's mostly true, nothing is ever completely mess free. It does well at least. I do love it's compact size and it's a well thought out design for storage and built in molds. My daughter really loves it. Lots of fun for her!

Can Mold It, Shape It, & Squish it in your Fingers
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thanks to @thisisbutterly, I was able to try out the @spinmaster Kinetic Sand with my niece and she absolutely loved it over the holidays! She loved how the sand just slinked through her fingers while still holding its shape when molded into the beautiful mold it came with! We would absolutely recommend the kinetic sand to any little hands looking to start their journey into modeling and shaping objects!

My kid loved the blooming flower!

I really apprecaited that the whole kit came in a convenient case that could be put away and reused over and over. Magical Kinetic Sand!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Kinetic Sand kit was super fun for all of us! It came with a pink sand and a yellow sand to create the flower which actually blooms when you press it down on the planter! The kids loved it and we all had lots of fun with it. I thought it was neat that the box included instructions for how to mix the sand to create an orange sand, which adds an extra creative element and some education about colours. There's so many fun ways to play with this sand. The kids even used some of the cardboard packaging to make tacos. They loved it so much that they asked to add Kinetic Sand to their wishlists, and luckily they got more kits for Christmas! I definitely plan to get more kits and colours. I know my kids will play with this for a long time. It has been keeping them busy many times over the holidays break! We received this Kinetic Sand Squishblossom set for free, in return for our review. Thank you Spinmaster and Butterly for the opportunity!

Part time fun...
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This sand project had the potential to be great; it is fun, has exciting colors and makes a cute little flower. However, it is a quick part time fun project. The "blooming" flower blooms for a second or two before it falls apart, the instructions were difficult to comprehend (even for an adult), and the plastic where the flower blooms from was garbage quality. I tossed this toy after we were done with it. Kinetic sand is so much fun, but unfortunately this product didnt cut it for me. Fun addition to sensory fun
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thanks once again to Spinmaster and Butterly for the opportunity to review this new Kinetic Sand, SquishBlossom Blooming Flower with 8oz Neon Yellow & Pink Play Sand for free in exchange for my honest opinion. My kids love kinetic sand I think it's such a great sensory alternative when it's snowing and raining out and you can't get outside to use the sandbox. This flower is a neat idea but we did find it a bit hard to manipulate. You place the mold on top of the foam and carefully remove to show a flower. Transferring the flower from the foam proved to be tricky. My kids loved it all the same and enjoyed doing the smaller molds. This could be a great addition to an Easter basket!
