This large and exceptionally beautiful vintage lamp is 11-inches tall, with a base 5.5-inches in diameter and a closed hook at the top to hang while the light is in use (hanger sold separately). The brass lamp is made to be a faithful reproduction of a piece of British naval history, which was historically used near the bow of a ship when at anchor as a standard way to signal that the ship was not moving. Our lamp is fully functional with a Fresnel glass design to distribute light widely, perfect for use in your den, kitchen, or entryway, and lamp oil is recommended but kerosene works too (not included).
