Across a wide ranging musical tapestry Lawson draws from the spirit of the heartwood of the guitar - his chosen instrument - and incorporates the stimulating rhythmic drive of rumba, bossa nova, and samba with graceful melodic finesse and free-flowing improvisational flair.
