Not what I expected. I thought they were the actual magnetic blocks/ pieces not flat magnetic pieces. Oh well, still taught the same concept. You do need a larger magnetic board if using the hundreds, otherwise a personal magnetic whiteboard will do if just doing tens and ones learning.
