i bought as a gift for my grandson. he is 21/2 and is just making a tower with them right now but will work with him on shapes and colors.

I would not buy them again.
The shapes don't stay in place. It's hard to stack them. Disappointed.

I would not buy this type of stacking shapes pegboard
I did not like that the shapes don't stay together.Students try to stack them and the pieces fall down. Also the tray is not stable.

My grandsons love playing with these pegs. They like to dump them all off and put them back on peg board. Keeps them busy.
