My son loves this set. The included instructions have a lot of different suggestions for ways to play with it to emphasize learning various things (colors, numbers, etc.), and it includes cards you can stand up to show what you want the child to plant in each row. He's been loving playing "farm" and practicing colors, counting, sorting, and the veggie names.
Very flexible toy lends itself to imaginative play!

We just received this Veggie Farm Sorting Set from @learningresources and my kids love it! This is such an open-ended toy and they found many ways to play with it (including making up songs about the veggies)! There are some starter activities outlined in the booklet that comes with it, but what the kids came up with on their own was way better. The recommended age is 3+, but my 2.5 year old and 5.5 year old both enjoyed it for different reasons. The pieces are well made (even the cards included are better than the usual cards that come with these kind of toys). While this set is very valuable for basic counting, sorting, and color identification, my children also used it to create patterns, songs, and other imaginative play! #learningresources #brilliantmindsmember #learning #homeschool #unschooling #stem #math #siblings #imaginativeplay #playischildrenswork #family #veggies #farmersmarket #healthyeating #farm #preschooler #mommyblogger #thriftychicagolandkids

My daughter got this set today and loves it! We started by showing her where she should plant each item and she did that for about 15 minutes and now she is planting her own way! These are great for color recognition, working on patterns and counting.

I / we absolutely love this sorting set it's educational , colorful & interactive. My son who has autism ( non verbal) loves it . He actually matches and lines the veggies up and places them in the small baskets . This helps with math skills , Sorting & recognizing colors. I highly recommend this toy for children of all abilities . I also recommend speech therapist to use this working with children on the spectrum . You can be Creative with playing with the toy as well we used a few farm animals and a farmer boy figure as well. I received this product as part of an incentivized program. I plan on buying this as gifts for 3 of the children in his class .
Definitely would purchase again

I really love this set! It is so colorful and something about it is irresistible - both to my 7 year old (who is too old for this) and my 2 1/2 year old (who is the perfect starting age for it). They like to set up farm shops and pretend to harvest the fields - incorporating some of their other little animal toys to make it like a playset. Highly recommend.
