Great quality toy. My little one thinks the bunny is cute. My main critique is wishing the food and bunny fit a little more snuggly inside the pots. They kind of just fall over when placed inside.

She also was able to recognize and identify the numbers on the pots and the colors of the pots. Overall, the quality is good, except that the inner rings of the pots come out easily. After the inner rings came out of the pots, I was constantly snapping them back in so that they did not get lost. I received this product for free jn exchange for my honest review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This toy is great for helping children to match and sort. My daughter enjoyed the bright colors and the play foods that were included! It helped to reinforce counting skills that we are currently working on. She is 2 years and 3 months old, for reference! There are little, removable rings to help keep the smaller veggies from falling too far into the cups. My only complaint is that my daughter has a tendency to lose interest after a few minutes of play.

Yes you can teach addition, subtraction, stacking, hide and seek, etc. but the outcome doesn't really work that way. The age group in which the toy states it's for is for kids learning to put things in/take things out (in this toy it's the pots) and learning to stack. But all the other educational functions are not suitable. Such as "put the beet in the number 2 pot". An older kid could follow those types of directions but an older kid would not play with a toy like this. It is not stimulating or entertaining for very long. Again, as a toy just to have and to keep in rotation it's ok.

This toy gave them the opportunity to imitate the same behavior and they were so proud to have their first ever harvest. The colors are very beautiful and this can be used by kids for group play.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The hide and seek veg garden is a cute toy set. It is aesthetically pleasing, well made and easy to assemble. It has large pieces so would be safe for younger kids that are still mouthing their toys. The leaflet/manual that comes with the toys explains a few different games that you can play with the pieces which is really helpful. In addition to that some of the veg is a little more unusual in toy sets so my son has now learned the words garlic and radish. My kids favorite piece is by far the little rabbit and both my 2 and 5 year old fight over it. I have found this toy does require my involvement to play and is not something my son will gravitate to or play independently with. I wonder if when he was younger he might have simply enjoyed putting the veg in and out of the pots and/or stacking them. It is a nice toy though not something I would have chosen to purchase myself for my kids I would still recommend it as a good quality toy if it suits your kids interests. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this in exchange for a review. I was very excited as my 18 mo old loves to stack and put things away. The lip on the bottom to interlock the stacking ups is so small she needs adult help to get them to fit. Also the vegetables are very simple and would benefit from having a number value as well as the cups. After stacking them a few times with parental help she was uninterested and has not opted to play with them again.

My son keeps grabbing it and he loves putting the vegetables into the pots. It's fun to watch him figure out the right way to put the veggies into the pots. They are also labeled with numbers so we've been practicing numbers and colors, since all of the toy's components are brightly colored. Overall, it's a fun toy that is completely safe for toddlers!

I was very excited to be chosen to receive this, as I've long been a fan of Learning Resources products, and they're not exactly cheap to buy. First Impressions; I thought this set was very cute! I loved the shapes and colors, as did my 1 year old, and 3 year old. The materials were durable, with a nice feel to them. I noticed pretty quickly, though, when squeezing the vegetables and the bunny, there was a smell of gasoline that would come out of the tiny hole in the toys. I brushed it off as normal with many soft plastic toys. After only a few days, the green coloring started to disappear on the vegetables and bunny. Now, of course, my baby chewed on these. That is what happened to the green coloring. However, at the age these are marketed to, they're bound to get chewed on. After noticing this, I had no choice but to throw them away. Had I actually purchased them, I would've been even more disappointed. The photos don't show just how much coloring had been removed. Knowing my little one ingested this is unsettling. I would not purchase or recommend.
