I'm glad I decided to go with this litter box. It was a difficult choice because there are so many options out there but after some research, Luna seemed like the best for me. My cats got used to using it right away. It has made my life easier. I just dump out waste once a week. It's also safe. I'm using less litter now. I love it.

I'm writing this review based on the first week of use. Upon delivery, my first thought was that the litterbox is a lot larger than initially expected. The huge start guide was easy to follow, and setup took just a couple minutes. My cat took to the litterbox right away, before I even put the litter in; checking it out, getting inside, smelling every part of it. I tested the safety features, and all worked as designed. I left my previous litterbox right next to it for several days, just in case, but he never went back to it, only using the Luma. He's a curious guy so I set the clean cycle for 10 minutes after use and even if he's elsewhere, he comes running to check it out when the cleaning cycle starts; he gets right up on it causing it to pause the cleaning cycle… hopefully that will subside over time! One thing I don't like is when he initially gets inside the drum adjusts by slightly moving, I assume due to his weight (he's 15+ lbs)? It doesn't seem to affect him, I just don't like it! Other cats may get spooked by this... maybe a future firmware update can rectify this? My first issue so far was that I awoke at 3am on day 5 of use and happen to walk by the Luma and heard the fan running. Upon further inspection, the drum was tilted back and not moving. The app showed it was jammed… for the past 5 hours! I have sleep mode activated so I was not notified, lesson learned! The jam took 2 resets (unplug to reset) to finally reset. I didn't see a "jam" and it reset just fine so don't know why it stopped? Obviously, this can be an issue if no one is home for an extended period, etc. Overall, I would recommend the Luma to anyone who's in the market for an automatic cleaning litterbox, just be cognizant of the features and all the what-if scenarios when setting them.

Good quality, user friendly, easy directions! Bigger than expected. haven't smelled the litter box since i set it up?

I purchased 2 but only 1 came. Still waiting for the 2nd one. However, None of my cats want to use it and it has been 2 days. Still giving them time to get use to it.

I was nervous at first but then I saw that they improved their safety measures. They did!! Anytime you get near the libros line of sight in the camera it will stop rotating! It detects movement and stops! It can tell my pets apart every time and most importantly, it fits my very large cat! The litter robot 4 and 5 does not! He's not overweight just a large cat. The camera is super clear 1080p. The app is beautiful. Using the features thru the app is flawless works instantly and hasnt disconnected 1000 times like the litter robot still continues to do and they are side by side each other in the basement of my house. Looks way easier to clean already, no crevices for litter to get stuck in and gunky. The waste bin is HUGE. The step is nice, no holes to get litter stuck in so you can just pour the little from the steps back into the libro. Love love love this you will not regret getting this over the litter robot!!!

I enjoy having this Luma. It does well dumping the clumps and keeping the litter clean. There are just a few issues: 1. I wish it could notify me the bin is close to getting full, instead of it's full. Because once it has an alert it is full, it will not dump anymore. This is a bit of a pain when you get the full bin notification as soon as you get to work. By the time I get home 10 hours later, my three cats have used the small amount of litter so much that it is quite gross. 2. I wish there was a bit more of a lip at the front of the litter robot. My cats keep peeing and pooping outside the litter robot onto the floor, the step, and the side of the Luma. 3. I am not a fan on how hard it is to cancel the costly subscription on the Luma. I tried canceling on my account on both their website and the app. I ended up sending them a message asking to end my subscription at the 7 day free trail. They asked a question then ghosted me. Now the subscription charged me an extra 120 dollars

I can't say enough good things about the Luma cat litter box—it has completely changed our daily routine. The no-scooping feature alone is a game changer, especially with four cats in the house. It keeps everything clean, fresh, and hassle-free, which is something I didn't think was truly possible with multiple cats. One of my favorite features is the built-in weighing system. Being able to monitor each of my pets' weight and habits gives me peace of mind and helps me stay on top of their health in a way I never could before. We ended up purchasing two Luma litter boxes for our home, and it was absolutely the right decision. They handle the workload perfectly, and all of our cats adjusted to them with no issues. I also want to mention how helpful Randy was throughout the process. He made sure all of my shipments arrived and answered any questions I had. Setup was quick and easy, and everything worked right out of the box. If you're on the fence—especially with multiple cats—this is 100% worth it. It's convenient, clean, and gives you extra insight into your pets' health. I wouldn't go back to a traditional litter box again. Luna, Taz, Toby, and Gracie love the Luma!!

After fighting with my litter robot for a handful of years, I finally decided to try something new. The Luma was comparable in price and it had great reviews. I LOVE IT. There's no smell, even when the tray needs changed, the integrated air purifier is amazing and being able to set the run time post cycle I think has really helped to erase any possibility of lingering odor. It runs smoothly, it stops in the middle of a cycle if my cats get a little curious and trigger a sensor while it's cleaning, so I don't have to worry about their safety. The litter doesn't get stuck to the tray and leave nasty wet, gray residue all over the dome when cycling. This litter box is well worth the cost and I'll definitely be purchasing another one to replace my last litter robot in the very near future.

Upgraded my automatic litter box to this one because it has a camera and more features my old one didn't have. One of my cats has some medical conditions where it's good to know if he is having diarrhea and being able to somewhat keep track of his weight is great. Both of my cats took really well to the box and now I know how long they are in there when they go which is great!

It seems to be working well after about 6 weeks. I have 3 cats, and only 1 uses it mostly the other two use my original litter robot - which is fine. As I don't have to empty either one as much. The AI is not terribly good. I have 2 cats that look very similar, but 1 weighs 10 lbs and 1 weighs 16 lbs, so you'd think the AI would able to tell them apart at least by their weight,but it is consistently wrong. Mixes them up cause it seems to be identifying them only by the camera and doesnt care about the weight differences. This should be fixed since you're charging so much for the AI option. It is unreso ably expensive for what I'm getting.

It's really unfortunate that they claim you only have to empty the container once a week with two cats, when after four days of cleaning it I'm getting alerts while I'm out of town that it's full. I purchased this product, knowing that I have quite a bit of travel coming up, and now I obviously cannot rely on their claims.

We love this litter box. It needs a front lip guard to prevent litter tracking and assist in keeping other animals from accessing the box.

Ups and downs. Up is it does clean itself. Down it does not handle odor at all. Even turning fans in high. The bowl is not big enough and the shape is not best design. Cat tries to scratch out a hole to poop but because it's bowl shaped the litter just keeps falling into the area. Almost always gets poop on my cats feet. My cat is still small I don't think this is going to work going to get rid of it.

It doesn't get dirty really often, and also it last a long time to replace the trash bag, I'm in love

Save your money, and just buy this litter box. It will safe you time and money in a long run.

I'll start with the positives . The set up is straight forward and easy and pairing with my phone and network connection was fast. My cat likes the Luma and had no issues with using it. I initially had it in his room but quickly found out it won't work on carpet so I moved it to the basement with porcelain flooring and that remedied the weight fluctuation error cancellations for the most part. I feel like a Beta tester when it comes to a few other things like the amount of litter to use in the tray because whenever I fill to the Max line the Luma will not complete an Auto Cleaning and I get the "Cleaning process has been cancelled due to weight fluctuation . Please ensure the device is placed on a flat solid surface". I have to keep the litter at the Minimum line for Luma to operate without a problem. The litter tray is also something that needs improvement because after only a few months it looks like it needs to be replaced and at about $30 bucks that's not good. There also has been wet clumping litter stuck to the inside of the Luma that I have to scoop-clean from time to time. I did set Luma to wait 15 minutes after my cat uses it so he doesn't hang around if it starts cleaning right after use. The feedback will hopefully help others and maybe the Gen 2 will address a few things and Luma will be better. I did like the AI analytics provided with the 30 day trial but I think the subscription cost is not for me. Let see if this review gets published.

Not sure if it empties automatically, but it does on command.

Both of my cats took right to it. They like to watch it self clean. It's roomy enough for my big 20# Tomcat. It holds enough litter for when they both use it one right after the other. It's also quiet and doesn't make any loud noises like my last litter robot did. I love the safety features too. It there was once thing I could change it would be the step. Redesign it so that the captured litter goes into an easy to empty pan. As it stands now, I use a dustbuster and suck up the litter off of it.

Cats are hesitant, but everything works as advertised. Hopefully, it will stand the test of time.
