Description
Created by Bill Samuels, Sr. to be a bourbon that he would enjoy drinking himself, Maker’s Mark is smooth and approachable with an easy finish – a true contrast to hot, harsh whiskies that 'blow your ears off,' and a downright revolutionary idea at the time. Maker’s Mark is made slowly in small batches, in our National Historic Landmark distillery in Loretto, Kentucky. While it makes any cocktail better, a lot of folks still prefer it on its own, or over ice with a splash of water.

This is my go-to drink to help me wine down after a very hard day. I like it straight and with a little Coca-Cola and ice. It is very smooth drink doesn't have the burning effects going down the throat. My new favorite driñk.

This has been around for years and just as smooth today as it was back then. Tastes great on the rocks or mixed with cola . Decent value and the bottle is super cool. It tells their story on it and they seal all their bottles in wax!

Oh, Maker's Mark Kentucky whisky is a true gem from the Bluegrass State! This iconic bourbon is known for its smooth and rich flavor profile. Crafted with care in Loretto, Kentucky, Maker's Mark uses a unique recipe that includes red winter wheat instead of rye, giving it a distinctively mellow and approachable taste. Whether you prefer sipping it neat, on the rocks, or in a classic cocktail like an Old Fashioned, Maker's Mark always delivers a delightful experience. So next time you're looking to enjoy a fine whiskey, give Maker's Mark a try and savor the flavors of Kentucky craftsmanship. Cheers! 🥃

For those who have been down the Bourbon Trail we know that this is not a Top Tier bourbon BUT it is a Good bourbon. Maker's Mark is a good every day drinker and does mix well. Doesn't give the Kentucky Hug as much as others so it is smooth. I do enjoy a Maker's Old Fashioned and always have a bottle on hand.

I typically buy a cheaper bourbon for my cocktails, but when I want to spring for something a little extra fancy I typically go with either this or Bulleit. I mix my bourbon with a caffeine free diet Pepsi (less sugar the better being that alcohol is already sweet). Bulleit reminds me of a more smooth Jim Beam. It has that slight smoky taste. I'm sometimes sensitive to that smokiness. I'm not a huge fan of overly smoked meats or the liquid smoke people use in BBQ'ing. That also goes for my liquors. This Makers Mark is a top shelf bourbon that seems to have even less of that taste which I often times prefer. It goes down easy and also makes for a great bourbon 7. Not to mention that Makers Mark has one of the most unique and intriguing bottles in the bourbon industry. It's definitely an eye catcher.

Makers Mark is one of my absolute favorite bourbons out there. It has an amazing history and you can truly taste it in their bourbon. The signature red wax is one of the coolest parts and you can always identify their brand. I highly recommend this bourbon especially to new bourbon drinkers but anyone can find a batch they will enjoy here.

Really enjoyed my bottle of makers. What made it more special is that it came from my barrel and even had my name engraved on it. Beautiful place to visit and was so much fun to dip our own bottles. Really enjoyed their many variations of old fashions.

A smooth bourbon that goes down easy. I pour it over some ice and drink it on the rocks. It's also a fun bottle with the melted seal look. Recommended staple in the house.

Beautiful place. We took the Makers Mark Tour and had a great time. After the tour you can purchase your own bottle to take home in the gift shop. Also can walk around the grounds at your own pace.

I should start by saying I am a chef and I not only drink it I cook with it. I have made bbq sauces and glazes and icing with this. A glass by the fire 🔥 during the winter or on the beach ⛱ during the summer you won't go wrong. No ice needed.

I gave this a 3 just because I'm not a big drinker. We toured the makers mark distillery and it was great. If you have never been I highly recommend. The bourbon itself is very smooth, and comes in a variety of flavors if you like bourbon.

Maker's Mark was the only alcohol my dad ever drank... Years after he passed away I found an old unopened bottle among his things... and now it is the only alcohol I drink, an acquired taste for bourbon that I surprisingly enjoy.

You can't go wrong with Maker's Mark. It has a good color, great nose and excellent taste. It rates right up there with the very expensive bourbons that you would only want to drink neat or on the rocks but is priced at a point that doesn't make you feel guilty if you want to mixing it.

A++ Top SHELF BOURBON !!! Every bar needs this on the shelf and every individual (whiskey drinker) needs this in their home bar. Cocktails, shots, over rocks, secret recipe ingredients, the possibilities are endless with this bourbon. The packaging and bottle is even top tier with the drip effects. All around great item, slightly pricey but who cares when you're having fun and enjoying a great drink!
