Description
Hess Maverick Ranches Cabernet Sauvignon is named in honor of our founding maverick spirit — one which has guided us for more than 40 years — and is our first Paso Robles Cabernet. Farmed in the Estrella District, Maverick Ranches Cabernet captures the essence of Paso Robles in a glass. Long hot days cooled by breezes through the Santa Lucia Mountains make this wine big and lush. Aromas of Bing cherry are followed by flavors of red fruits and velvety, dark chocolate.

Girls night out favorite!

Awesome new wine, from a trusted producer!
My wife and I have been Hess fans for years. We're amazed by the quality from their entry level "Select" series to their Mt. Veeder estate. When we saw this at our local Target, we were intrigued. We recently purchased a couple bottles to share with friends, and LOVE this! It's perfect for a cocktail (not too tannic, but great structure), but paired really well with the rack of lamb we made.

This is a fantastic wine that drinks like a $40 plus bottle. It's smooth with great flavor and blance. I love supporting this family owned winery based out of Napa.

Huge fan
New to Paso Robles wines, but a fan of this winery. It has big raspberry and red cherry flavor, but great structure as well. Didn't last long enough to serve with dinner!
