Max in the Middle - by Steve Foxe (Paperback)

Book Synopsis

Max in the Middle is the first volume of a graphic novel trilogy about the everyday trials and triumphs of a newly blended family. Perfect for fans of Real Friends and Squished!

Max has always had his mom to himself. Then his family expands to include stepdad Ernesto, stepbrother Jonas, and baby TJ. Suddenly, Max is in the middle--and he doesn't like it. When acting out lands him in trouble at school, it's Jonas who shows up for him, and Max finds an unexpected ally in the one person he never thought he'd call a big brother.

Told with honesty, humor, and heart, Max in the Middle explores the messy, beautiful reality of blended families--and the bonds that hold them together.
