Peeling after a couple uses. I agree with the other reviews that it is poorly made. My baby has only used this for a short amount of time and the edges of the puzzle and pieces are peeling up.

Great learning fun!
I got this for my 9 year old grandson when he was one. I cut out pictures of family members to put under each puzzle piece and wrote his address on the door. Both he and his little brother loved it. The 3 year old told me I need to get it for my 10 month old granddaughter, which is why I bought this one. I will put in the photos for her as well.

Damaged product with sharp edges that could hurt a child
Really disappointed that this arrived damaged with 4 significant cracks in the wood with gaps wide enough to scratch delicate skin. I ordered this for my granddaughter who is turning one and now won't have enough time to send her another gift in time for her birthday. I ordered from Melissa & Doug because I am usually really happy with their products but this one fell way short of expectations.

I would not recommend this product.
We bought this product on this website. My one year grandson put the puzzle piece near his mouth and the paper got unstuck. If I did not see it, he would have chewed a piece of particle board and paper. I thought these were wooden puzzles. These are made of particle board and is not safe for a child. I do not know why the company is not following safety rules. It says wooden puzzle on description and the price is also for wooden puzzle. In stead I got a particle board puzzle which I had to throw. Never again I will buy or recommend.

Good quality.
Bought this for my 9 month granddaughter. The knobs are very easy for her to grab and pick up. Right now she takes one in each hand and bangs them together. I know she is a little young to understand shapes and she will eventually, so really even though she is a little young for it, she does her own thing with it and has fun.

Solid materials and surprisingly popular with 12 month old.
I'm not sure why this simplistic puzzle is so extremely popular with 12 month old granddaughter, but it is. It is also well constructed out of solid material.

This is a great puzzle! Our 16 month old granddaughter is drawn to this puzzle and loves the knobs to grasp and bang! Fortunately the puzzle is well made and can tolerate it!
