Not forolder kids.
Sadly this sprinkler doesn't do much but make a mud puddle. There is no sprinkler about it. Shoots straight water, kinda hard. Unlike the fun light mist that goes in the air.

Others have said the height of the water is not high but I have not had that issue. Not sure if they are not turning their hoses on a higher pressure. The water sprays high for us! My three boys enjoy this!

Fun for Warm Days
We love playing with this sprinkler. Tip: Increase the water pressure for water to go higher. We can get it up to 6 feet at least. I have bought other sprinkler toys that did not attach but this one worked for us. We have a lot of fun with this cute worm sprinkler.

The sprinkler only spouts water about 2 feet high and about 2 feet in diameter.

So much fun!
Can I tell you how much fun my 2yo and I had with this this past summer? Especially with every thing being closed this gave us the ability to go outside and play in the sun. I set it up next to his water table so it would fill the water table up while he was running through the little streams of water. It can build some good pressure and the streams can get about 5ft high. It was a great mom break for me too, I could sit in a chair and catch some sun while watching him play and splash.

I liked this Melissa & Doug Sunny Patch Patrol Sprinkler so much I bought one for my 2 year old grandson & for myself! The upright characters are elevated high enough to give one quite a soaking with the water turned up .Very child friendly with the colorful & sturdy mounted characters to the sprinkler base. The characters do not pull off the base even when tryed. Makes a great lawn sprinkler too! Gets 5 stars from me.

The best kid sprinkler!!
I honestly am not sure what the issue is with other users. This sprinkler is amazing. It is a KID sprinkler. This is not meant to soak your yard. With the water pressure up at full force this thing got up to about 3-4 feet! It is adorable, and for my 1 year old who is "new" to water and being outside getting sprayed with water from a sprinkler he loved this! He can easily grab the little worm guys and just loves it. Highly recommend!!

Nice simple sprinkler for toddlers
Definitely for toddlers, not older children. Water came up to my 3 year-old son's waist which is just what I expected based on the picture. But it has worked consistently though many days of use so far and is easy to setup/clean up. We've been happy with it.

I thought when I purchased this it would shoot water a little higher than it does, but it doesn't. I agree with one of the other reviews that this is good for a toddler, not for a child who would want to run and jump through it. It is, on the other hand, very well made.

Terrible. Sprays about a foot up and doesn't move. My 3 year old was bored with it after about 2 minutes.
