Affordable but some flaws
I used this and found a small red thread in the bottle and thank goodness I look at all my spices before I pour them into my cooking. I think the red thread might come from the mesh breathable nets that onions are stored in. They should have more inspection done before it goes out. I threw away the minced onion bottle. Always inspect your spices before you put them in your cooking.

Quick & Easy Onion In A Pinch
I love to have the Minced Onion on hand! Whenever I need just a bit of onion, I can use this in place of it. While certainly not the same, it definitely works as a quick and extremely easy substitute for the real thing. Just about one tablespoon equals one small onion. Flavorful, tastes great, and can be used in pretty much anything!

So, so, so much better than anticipated!
I almost don't want to say how much I love these, because I'm afraid of them being constantly sold out lol. I'm a longtime fan of another brand of dried onions (probably the most popular/famous brand) and would normally never stray. But about a month ago I saw these online, at a considerably lower price than my go-to brand, so I decided to take a chance and I'm SO glad I did. The other brand I usually buy is good, but I notice that sometimes if the dish I add them to doesn't contain a lot of moisture, and the onions don't 100% reconstitute, they can be tough to chew. What I love about the Good & Gather onions is that you can add them to drier dishes (for example, potato salad) and they give your dish a nice little crunch without being tough or leather-like for lack of moisture. Almost like tiny little potato chips, in terms of texture. They are now my go-to dried onions!
