Book Synopsis

Girls being treated differently to boys is not a new concept, but what if the boys took action?

About the Author

Scott Stuart is an internationally known, bestselling author and illustrator, best known for the banned book My Shadow Is Pink and its companion title My Shadow Is Purple, among many others.

Before anything else, he is a father to a little boy who loves all things Queen Elsa and princesses. Their story of dressing up as Elsa together became a social media phenomenon, touching families around the world. For as long as he can remember, Scott has been passionate about storytelling and the power it holds.

Having worked at The Royal Children's Hospital, he understands how vital it is for children to feel seen and represented. He is committed to creating empowering stories that celebrate individuality, self-expression and belonging.

Scott lives in Melbourne, Australia with his wife and son, and continues to write and illustrate books that help children feel understood and valued.
