Disappointing camera
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At first glance it is a cute camera. The color is a nice blue and it is durable. But the noise it makes to focus is a very loud beep and I cannot turn it off. I had to download another app that is a social media for kids but it is very confusing to operate. It hasn’t let me upload any pictures to it.

Easy to use and endless fun camera for kids!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] MyFirst Camera is so much fun for your kids. The camera has a few features that feel like a phone minus the phonecalls. You can take pictures, videos, store music, diary, and mycircle, a kid version of social media that you as parent can monitor. They can share and post things on their feed. The sound quality is good. The picture quality is nice too. I like how it came with a wrist strap and a lanyard. The two straps make me feel less anxious of my kids dropping the camera. The camera charges pretty fast, and it came with a charger cord too. The box included fun little stickers to decorate it. My kids really enjoyed using the camera and they learned fast on how to use it. And with summer coming up, they are excited to take alot of pictures and vlog their day.

Great for kids to capture memories
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great first camera for a kid. The amount of options there are to edit right from the camera is crazy for a 1st camera. You can create videos or pick images and have videos auto generated. The responsiveness is a bit slow to me but for a child I think it is good. Its a front and rear camera which is nice because sometimes we take our own photos. The selfie light has 3 different settings with the highest getting very bright. The pixels are pretty comparable. There is a lanyard attachment to easily carry it around. It comes with some storage BUT also comes with a slot to put an SD card. Overall, I enjoyed this camera and my children will continue to enjoy capturing memories with it.

To see from a toddlers perspective
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It has been so sweet to see the captures of a two year old. As soon as she got the camera she went to the garden to take pictures of chamomile and her kitty. I don’t use tablets or a lot of technology with my kids but this is a great exception. It is extremely easy to use and a great size for a small child. We love it!

MyFirst Camera 50 Ai
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What I appreciate the most is how easy it is to set up and use. I was able to show my 11 year old daughter how to use it fully in under 5 minutes. She's able to use her creativity and edit each picture or video and add text, filters, stickers, and music. The camera includes its own app that has safety features for sharing pictures to family and trusted friends instead of access to public social media. The camera itself feels sturdy and intuitively designed for kid use. There's a rubber like material as the shell to protect against dropping damage. The lanyard and wrist sling give her options to keep the camera close but still able to use her hands. The built-in selfie light has three settings of low, medium, and maximum light gives the ideal lighting. It has three buttons that make the camera function; the power on/off button, the selfie light, and the shutter/camera button. The things that are not included in this bundle that may be worthwhile to add would be a memory card, and a small carrying case to keep all the accessories together. Overall, I'm excited to see my daughter enjoying a new way of expressing herself through the joys of photography.

Kid Friendly, Built to last
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The My First Camera is a Kid Friendly design, built to last. It has two cameras in one. A 20 MP main camera on the back for regular photos and 16MP front camera for selfies. The built in ring light around the front lens has three light settings. Bright, medium light, and low light. This feature is made for those quick selfie moments. The camera has an easy to use screen and simple menu icons. It’s wrapped in a thick, rubbery plastic shell that can easily withstand being dropped on the sidewalk or kitchen floor. Plus it’s cameras Body shape is perfect for small hands to get a good grip. It even comes with a wrist strap to prevent slips while taking photos, and a neck strap so they can carry it around hands-free. If your little one is playing outside on a sunny day, the photos look great, bright colorful and sharp. Indoors or in dim rooms, the photos can look a little grainy or pixelated. The built-in ring light can help a lot in this area. But it performs best when it has plenty of natural lighting. The camera also pairs with a secure, kid-friendly app that allows a private circle of invited family and friends to interact and safely view shared content. It also includes a kids photo diary, fun emojis and more. While the concept is great, you can easily turn the online features off if you feel uncomfortable with them, though doing so disable those specific sharing options and fun features. Overall this camera is fun, durable, easy to use and a great way to explore and be creative.

Convenient size, cool features and perfect for kids!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I gave this camera to my 12 year old daughter and she really likes it so far. Not only is it her favorite color, but the small, compact size and easy to use functions are appealing to her. We also love that it has a handy wrist strap or a lanyard to easily carry it. She doesn't really take selfies, but I loved the idea of the built-in selfie light with 3 different light strength settings. She mostly uses this camera on our walks because she loves to take pictures of all the animals, nature and neighborhood cats! If you enjoy creating digital diaries, this has a feature for that too! You can add your video or photos and even change the filters, draw or add stickers to your media. It's neat that the diary allows to be locked, so your kids can freely express their feelings, while maintaining privacy. The other cool feature is the AI video editor which allows you to customize a theme and then creates a video for you with your chosen media files! We thought the circle connectivity function was also really cool because my daughter can share videos and photos with me and connected friends and family through the myFirst circle phone app! This camera is good overall and the expandable memory is a huge plus! I just wish the battery life lasted longer, but other than that, it's a decent camera for younger kids!

Good first camera for children with safe posting features
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] myFirst Camera 50 is a digital “smart” camera designed for children. It comes in fun colors with kid friendly accessories such as stickers, a lanyard and wristlet. This camera is rechargeable and long lasting, so no need for replacing batteries. The built in selfie light helps kids take perfectly lit photos easily. This camera has “AI” features that basically compile a series of photos into a slideshow with music or voice notes. The myFirst camera is an Android device that connects to WiFi and can connect to a limited social circle so kids can “post” their photos for family to see. This is a safe alternative to posting on social media for the whole world to see. The first step to working the camera is to download a phone app. The app connects to the camera in order for photos to be uploaded and can then be transferred to print or store in other ways. My daughter likes this camera for taking simple photos but it is difficult for her to use all of the extra features that it has. She also gets frustrated because the camera will randomly crash at times. The memory is quite limited as well, and she has to delete photos constantly to be able to take additional ones. I recommend purchasing this camera to give children a bit of safe independence. This camera is so slim it was easy for me to pack on vacation so my daughter could take her own photos and feel special “posting” them for our family back home see. Overall, the myFirst camera for kids seemed promising but proved to be buggy and basic.

Great for kids!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids absolutely love this camera! My 8 and 4 year old have been able to use this camera and capture beautiful photos with ease. It's simple controls make start-up quick so my kids can get busy doing what really matters (to them), take pictures of the world around them. I love that it's easy to maintain, very durable (I have two boys so this is a must!), it charges very quickly, and easy to take on the go. There is also an app that you can use to upload, edit, and share your Childs art to family and friends if you choose, but it's not required to use this fantastic little device.

A Fun and Creative Camera for Young Users
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This kids AI camera is a fun way to encourage creativity and independence without handing over a smart phone. The camera features a 20 megapixel main lens, and 16 megapixel selfie lens, with a built in “ring” light. The touch screen and straight forward menu system make it easy to navigate, even for younger users. The photo quality performs best in great lighting; it’s not quite cell phone quality, but the point of this camera is to nurture fun and creativity. I would say it does just that! You can link the camera to an app that features a safe, kid-friendly Instagram style feed to share content with family or friends that you’ve invited to the app. You can share directly from the camera itself. It’s created to be drop proof, and holds up well in rough environments. It has a space for an SD card for extra storage, and has 16GB of built in space. Overall, I think this is a great camera for kids to use to document their adventures and memories with friends and family. It’s especially great for those new teens who want social media freedom, due to the fun built in effects and filters, and the safety of the app.

Lightweight camera, great for little kids. Is app worth it? Not sure.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a lightweight little camera that handles falls well! It takes ok photos, not super great quality, but probably fine for kids. My 8 year old and 11 year old had fun with the first couple of pictures and placing the built-in stickers on them. However, there are a limited number of stickers available (30 total) and it could get boring depending on the age. Also not sure why one of the few stickers is a coffee cup sticker for something geared towards kids. The sound the camera makes when taking a photo is super loud. Like annoyingly loud. This is touted as a “privacy” feature. I feel it could be a bit quieter and still work as a “privacy” feature (not taking pictures without consent). It’s easy to hold and take photos. My kids figured out the camera pretty quickly. I’ll be interested to see if they will take it to camp this summer. If the time of this review, I don’t know. I haven’t connected it to the app. It seems like others would have to have the same app in order to share photos. How would we know if friends have the same camera or not? It’s challenging to build an app ecosystem and I’m already burned out by the number of apps I have.

Perfect for kids who love to take pics
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Perfect little camera for kids to take all the pics they want, without worrying about handing them a smartphone or having Internet access. The durable case is grippy for younger hands, the functions are simple and intuitive and the picture quality is great. Images can be edited with simple controls, allowing kids to be creative.

Great for kiddos
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the light blue color but it can get stained quite easily giving it that dirty look . The camera comes with one lanyard to hang around your neck and a small lanyard to hang around your wrist. It has a back camera and a front camera, the quality isn’t the greatest (the photo of the screen doesn’t make it any better, sorry :( ) but it’s good enough for the littles. It has a light with 3 different brightness levels, which is perfect for taking selfies & you can also record videos on this camera. One thing that I noticed was that it takes quite long for it to turn on (20 seconds to be exact) so make sure that your camera is on before heading out or else your little one might miss out on a shot and we don’t want that. It has a good battery life, lasted pretty much all day and then some on the next. You can download an app, called myfirst circle which is a parent controlled social media app where kids can upload the pics they take for families to see. Almost like instagram. where they can share their photos with but honestly I didn’t bother because I don’t need my kids on screens. I love the idea of them taking on a hobby like photography but no thank you to social media apps :)

Cool concept, but…
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While this is a cool concept for kids, I feel like this camera has more cons than pros. I’ll start with cons: pictures come out clear, there’s a ton of cool features to personalize, and it’s easy to use. Cons: even with the volume lowered, it is LOUD. You have to connect to some type of WiFi before you start. If you want to add music, or even more details, you have to create a separate account. The storage usage is not good. It comes with almost 15gb, but one picture alone without any graphics added, uses over 3.5gb. While it is sturdy, the color is pretty, and my daughter was able to navigate it easily, she won’t be able to use it for very many pics. I also do not like all the “hoops” you have to go through just to take a picture or edit it. For that reason alone, I do not recommend it.

Incredible
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the nicest camera ever. It's more like a cell phone than a digital camera. This is super easy to set up. It has a touchscreen which is easy to use. It seemed to charge very fast. I love that it has a built-in selfie light. It also has a supporting application for editing and storage. The performance is better than I would expect for a child first camera.

Cute, easy to use, and perfect for kids who love taking photos and videos.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My child really enjoys using this camera. The design is cute, lightweight, and easy for little hands to hold. The screen is clear, and the buttons are simple to use without needing much help. I also like that it can take both photos and HD videos, which keeps kids entertained and creative. The purple color is adorable too. Overall, it's a fun and easy-to-use camera for kids.
