Book Synopsis

Netflix's Griselda meets Marvel's Black Widow in this dark tale where a woman has to leave her peaceful life and return to her duties for an international crime family.

She escaped her family once. Can she do it again?

As kids, Lily and her sisters were adopted by Nan, their godmother and matriarch of a notorious international crime family.

Under Nan's watch, Lily became a monster, forced to torture, maim, and murder - in part due to the conscience-ridding drugs given to her by Nan but also because of years of grooming and education in the art of assassination.

Though her sisters and Nan were her world, she loved and hated them in equal measure. Eventually, resentment and guilt won, and she escaped her horrific role.

Seven years later, Lily is thriving. She's sober, has a beautiful family, and has movedon from the past ... or so she thinks.

But when bouquets start showing up at her house, she knows the seemingly innocent flowers have a darker meaning: her past is catching up to her.

She can run, but she can't hide forever.
