About the Author
A world-class nature photographer, Yuan Minghui is the winner of multiple prestigious awards, including the German International Glanzlichter, the UK IGPOTY, and the US-hosted NBPA. He is the only Chinese photographer to have won the internationally-acclaimed WPY - the Oscars of nature photography (in 2014, 2019 and 2021), with Italian magazine Asferico describing him as the first Chinese nature photographer to be recognized worldwide. He published The Microcosmos: A Fairytale of Close-up Photography in 2017.
