Book Synopsis

This crowd-pleasing companion to the Geisel award-winning The Watermelon Seed is a funny bedtime read-aloud about an anxious crocodile who loses his teddy bear--perfect for fans of Knuffle Bunny!

Croc has the perfect cozy wind-down routine: read his books, snuggle under the covers, drink a bottle of water.... And the whole time, he clings to his best buddy and nighttime companion, Teddy. But when he bids "night night" to Teddy, something is wrong. Teddy is missing! Oh, Teddy... WHERE COULD YOU BE?

Croc's anxiety-prone imagination runs wild with everything that might have happened to his favorite stuffie. Will Croc ever find his toy... before Teddy becomes a yummy snack for a hungry pack of wolves? Never fear: a happy reunion--and a good night's sleep--are just around the corner!

Brimming with bright neon-colored art, this giggle-worthy story starring the same lovable crocodile as The Watermelon Seed is a perfect goodnight book for preschoolers.
