The saga shifts to new lands. Norfrica: Glorious Death #2 takes the Norfrica mythology into Takhari and the African-folklore-inspired realm of Nyandala -- a sovereign land no portal reaches, feared by the other realms.

In Vol 1, the saga established the Norse-inspired realm of Asgarth and the machinations threatening to plunge the realms into war. Vol 2 shifts the focus to Takhari and Nyandala -- and Takhari's story is just beginning. Mythology-driven epic action from Rippaverse founder Eric July, with interior art by Ronilson Freire (The Mummy: Palimpsest, Doctor Who: The Twelfth Doctor), colors by Marcos Martins, and letters by The Invisible Art Studio.

The Norfrica series shares its name with the real-world "Glorious Death" single -- a Billboard-charting cross-media release by the in-universe band Norfrica, performed by Eric July (BackWordz vocalist) and Dan Vasc. The animated adaptation extends the collaboration: Eric July voices Takhari; Dan Vasc voices Validan.

About the Author

Eric D. July is an American comic book writer, entrepreneur, musician, and media personality best known as the founder and CEO of the Rippaverse. Born in Dallas, Texas, he built a large following as the frontman of the rap-metal band BackWordz and as a cultural commentator on his YouTube platform, YoungRippa59. In 2022, he launched the Rippaverse to create a reader-first publishing company focused on creator ownership and independent storytelling, with his debut title Isom #1 becoming one of the most successful campaign comics of all time. As a writer, July has helped shape a growing shared universe of characters--including Isom, Alphacore, and Yaira--while emphasizing action-driven storytelling and delivering stories directly to fans outside traditional publishing models.
