I was worried about the glass lanterns arriving in one piece but they were wrapped well in their own boxes packed with styrofoam. However, the metal parts were just tossed in the shipping box, both the poles and the very heavy weighted base, which were left to bounce around the box. The foam/felt bottom of the base was destroyed and see photos for the poles which had the paint scratched aff in several places, making it impossible to assemble and hide the defects. Why woul I pay $200 for something and accept damaged goods? And why wouldn't they wrap the poles seeing as they are painted and not real wrought iron?
