Didn't attract a lot of birds while I was watching, but eventually a finch couple decided to make it into a nest, and that is glorious. 5 eggs, daddy bird brings bits to mama occassionally, and soon there should be babies! I put a tiny cup of finch food next to the nest in the "feeder", and mama bird seems to love that little service, I watch her and she watches me. The best!!

Not ideal
The bird feeder came cracked and the perch was off on one side. I super glued it because my kids were so excited to start bird watching. We had it up for about 2 weeks and decided to take it down. Not only do the birds go through the seed super fast because of the open design of the tray (I’m talking filling it twice a day!), only one bird can perch at a time, which led to a lot of fights between birds. They also pooped all over my window sill outside. I have since switched to a double sided hanging feeder. This is a great idea, but just isn’t practical for heavy bird traffic.
