Description

Stitch Spring is Here, a printed needlepoint canvas by Orchidea — a path lined with tulips leads to a cottage among blossoming trees, with a black cat at the door. A little stitcher's folklore: cut tulips keep growing in the vase, sometimes by an inch or more. Why this canvas: you choose the thread, so you can work it in tapestry wool for a traditional look or in cotton floss for a finer finish. Canvas includes: 100% cotton Zweigart 10-count canvas (40 holes per 10 cm) printed with the design, with the colour key printed on the canvas and a thread list for DMC, Anchor and Ariadna. Stitch used: half stitch. Threads, needle and frame are not included. Match each printed colour to the thread list, then fill the canvas in half stitch, working the main shapes first and the background last. Canvas size: 30×40 cm (11.8×15.7 in). A fresh spring scene for any room.
