used to love this product but with the recall of salad I'm nervous

Unfortunately when I received this item it was price marked from $2.99 to $1.50 on the item itself but I was charged the original price. I called to see if I could be charged the sales price instead of the original price but they said there was no history of a price drop. It makes me assume Target gave me an item that was about to expire but chose to bill me full price instead. This is part of the reason I often do not use services such as these.

In store shopper gave me 3 day expired lettuce in my online order today. The same order today also had slimy, moldy mini cucumbers. The brand of packaged lettuce is good. The judgment of the in store shopper is bad. This is the 3rd inedible produce item I have been given in 5 weeks. Target is not removing noticeable moldy, slimy and expired produce from their shelves. And, in store shoppers are passing on inedible produce to customers. Both of these are poor business practices. Returning poor quality produce to the store is an inconvenience and would have been prevented had I been given fresh produce. Take notice Target and in store employee shoppers, moldy, slimy produce is noticeable and customers will always notice. Both of the above get 1 STAR. I have never been sold poor quality produce from a different major grocer, in many, many years. Target fails to offer the customer to rate Target's online shopping and purchasing experience.

Salad was decent enough definitely wash/check it yourself. I found 5 little bugs before I got too grossed out and tossed the rest.

This mix was quite possible one of the worst tasting ones I’ve had. I don’t know which lettuce type it was, but there was a very distinct earthy/dirt taste that never went away no matter how hard I tried. I trimmed all of the ridiculously long stems, washed it three times, tried to different salad setups and dressings—it was so bad. I’m not very particular on what type of lettuce I have, but I now know I will NEVER, EVER use this again. It was absolutely horrible. It was well within the best by date, but I think I would’ve been better off eating whatever came off lawnmower blades. Horrible mix.

This lettuce expires in 2 days- June 1! I was hoping for fresh. Thank you
