I don’t know how they are allowed to call this Parmesan cheese, it tastes nothing like Parmesan, it actually doesn’t taste like anything at all. I’ve used it a few times and wondered why my recipes didn’t have much flavor and then it occurred to me to actually taste the cheese on its own, it tastes like nothing! No wonder my recipes haven’t been tasting right!

Tastes good and melts well
Of course it’s not the good stuff but it’s way better than the cheese in the plastic can. Melts nicely in thick sauces and does give a good parmesan flavor for a casual dinner done cheap. I wouldn’t melt this in a thin water sauce though. It would probably stick to your spoon or the bottom of the pan.
