Love this sauce!! We always make our pasta sauce a minimum of one day ahead. We have come to believe that it’s the best after it has a day to marry! Only thing we still have a small problem with is the price point. I hope to be able to continue to enjoy this jarred sauce for many years to come!!

Best jarred sauce!
I absolutely love this sauce! It delivers on subtle heat without being super spicy and has easily elevated the taste of homemade pasta. I like to season ground turkey with herbs/spices and add a little bit of cornstarch to retain moisture. Brown it very well before flipping/breaking up. Then adding salt as it’s almost done cooking. Add in the Carbone sauce and add the pasta water and pasta. Easy and delicious dinner with minimal cleanup

Just enough of a flavorful kick
It has just enough of a flavorful kick of heat to enjoy it without being overpowered by spice. This could easily be doctored up to satisfy spicier palettes without leaving those of us who can’t handle a lot of heat behind (thanks geographic tongue). It has a nice robust tomato flavor as well, I’m impressed, especially for a jarred sauce. The only disappointment is the price, it is on the costly side compared to its contemporaries.

Miniscule amount of spice. It does not justify the high price. I purposely bought this brand to have the spicy aspect, and this did not deliver. You also need to purchase cream which ups the price even more.

I've tried many Vodka sauces, but none have been as overwhelmingly sweet as this one. The amount of sugar completely overpowers the other flavors, making it hard to enjoy. A good Vodka sauce should balance richness, tanginess, and creaminess—not taste like dessert. Unfortunately, this sauce missed the mark for me.

Worth the price!
I bought because it sounded delicious and didn’t realize until it was too late that it asks for cream. Only thing I had on hand was dairy free milk. Added maybe 3/5 cup. It turned out so good! I did add truffle hot sauce to make it spicier. Will try it without next time. 100% recommend!

Wow! This sauce is so flavorful!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a fan of this sauce! My boyfriend and I made some delicious calzones and pizza with Carbone's spicy vodka sauce. It's not to crazily spicy but it has a nice kick to it and is really flavorful that it doesn't need any seasonings at all!

Hello! Can you please let me know whether the vodka in the sauce is wheat based? I have Celiac's and got ill after eating this, so I am wondering if the vodka is a grain variety. The Celiac community would love to know and to be safe!
