Cute, but hard to break for littles
We liked the design, it was durable, but took a long time to break for our little kids using a plastic bat. Dad eventually just tore it open after like 30+ whacks by 12 kids taking turns. At least everyone got several turns!

This piñata is super cute, but man it was impossible to bust open. Built tough! My 4 & 5 yr old took a ton of hard swings at it and then I tried and we could not get it to break open. It broke off the loop before the sides opened up. We finally just ended up ripping it apart and tossing the candy. Pretty anti-climactic. Would not buy again.

Not a great design
The shark is cute but definitely think a whole shark with tail would be a better design for a piñata. The large flat surface on both sides of this is impractical and the string on top was just flimsy. The string ended up tearing through the cardboard and falling after 3 hits so we tried stringing it up with our own rope through some holes we made in the sides but it still ended up breaking through that! In the end we tore the thing open and threw the candy at the kids. It was a bummer.

Poorly made
After one hard hit, it fell off of the hook like other reviews mentioned. There was such a large hole at the top that my husband could not make new holes to attach a new rope and he ended up holding the piñata while kids swung at it. It took forever to break!

Cute, but impossible to break
Cute, but basically impossible to break apart. It took three adults assisting with swinging a metal rod at full strength and then flinging it across the yard multiple times to get it to spring a small hole right near the opening where the candy gets put in... It was corrugated cardboard that was taped together with many strips of packing tape. The pictures here are of after it was torn open by the adults. No amount of hitting was going to result in candy raining from this piñata.
