White wood Queen size bed frame

Queen size white wood bed frame I bought this as a wedding gift for my Grandson. They had one chosen on IKEA that looked similar but had terrible reviews so I searched for a better option and found this one. They were so excited and pleased by it he upgrade in quality. Also had good delivery and shipping - I would use Pkank & Beam again!

This is a good solid bed. My husband assembled it alone with no problem, but he is pretty handy. Shipped in a good timely manner. The only complaint I have is that the wood slats are pretty far apart. Most mattresses require the slats be no more than 5 inches apart. These are closer to 10 inches. My husband bought a sheet of plywood to put down on top and it works perfectly. We are happy with the bed.

Problem with headboard

Overall, the quality of the bed was as or better than expected. However, the assembly was marred by ill-fitting slats in the headboard. The holes for the slats were at inconsistent depths, causing the slats to not align properly, and the side pieces to not align with the pre drilled holes. I had to leave our second home, cut the slats to fit properly on my radial arm saw at home, and drive back to finish assembly a week later. This was very disappointing and a terrible inconvenience. This should be a very basic quality control check.

Mom loves her new bed frame, the color, the fact that it is solid wood and Plank +Beam has gotten in the nightstands and 3-drawer dresser that matches so we have ordered those pieces to finish out her bedroom suite.

Overall, I like the bed, but it is very difficult to assemble because the wood for the frame doesn't come with pre-drilled holes to fit the screws. Instructions are okay, but you need a drill to make it work.

Great bed frame! Worth the price.

This bed frame is not only mega cute, it’s pretty easy to assemble aside from the mislabeled numbers on items “09” and “10”. It should also be noted that there aren’t any pre drilled holes for the pieces that require screws to be drilled into solid wood. This was a bit of a surprise but as long as you have the right drill bits it takes maybe 1-2 hours to complete in total. It says team build (I found this only necessary when it came to putting the actual frame together (the last half of instructions) and it came together quickly. So far so good, pretty sturdy frame and great height for easy storage.

Purchased a Queen size bed frame, easy to follow instructions booklet, made assembly of the bed frame easy. Husband was impressed (not an easy task) with quality of wood & how the pieces were made & how well they fit when assembling.

Beautiful bed, great price!

Very easy to assemble. If you've ever put together furniture, it should be a breeze. Looked at the manual to lay out all of the parts and to get the head/foot board ends on facing the proper direction, otherwise it was common sense. All hardware was accounted for... a refreshing treat after the dresser I'd bought (different manufacturer/seller) had a single screw missing and I had to wait about a week to get the replacement in the mail before using one of the drawers. Only tool needed besides the allen wrenches that came with it was a phillips screw driver. It mentions a rubber mallet, however I simply used my fist to get those parts together.

Good Product

Looks great in the bedroom. Appears to be sturdy so far. Assembly was a bit difficult, but maybe because I did it by myself without anyone assisting. Instructions were quite adequate. Have another person help with the assembly, if possible. We are quite happy with the product so far.
