Thrown off guard and out of her comfort zone, Adena brings the stranger back to her and Pae’s home. He is quiet and moody and infuriating. She tells him about her life, how she came to be here, and pushes to find out more about him. Turns out they have more in common than they realized. They fall in love quickly and fiercely but as with most things in Ilya, their passion is short-lived when Adena is pulled away to become Pae’s seamstress for the Trials.

However, a love like theirs will endure.
