It's particularly useful for horses with longer backs or those in early stages of collection training where maintaining forward movement is critical.Q: How do I adjust the Professional's Choice Schutz Long Training Fork for my horse?Use the Conway buckle system to lengthen or shorten the fork based on your horse's current stage of training. Start with a longer adjustment that allows natural head carriage, then gradually shorten as your horse builds strength and understanding. The buckle allows tool-free adjustments between sessions.Q: Can I use this training fork for lunging and under saddle work?Yes, the Schutz Long Training Fork is designed for both ground work and riding. Many trainers introduce it during lunge sessions to establish the feel before transitioning to under-saddle work. The harness leather construction provides consistent contact in both applications.
