Poorly packed/shipped but otherwise good
2 in a row came broken, but I was able to cobble together 1 working stand from the non-broken parts. Aside from that, it's awesome!

Lower Shelf Stable, Upper . . . Not So Much
The lower shelf is rock solid. But, despite its sturdy-looking design, the upper shelf is less so. If you're a seasoned performer in a band, you may be used to thinking of the keys as moving targets. On the other hand, if you're used to playing an acoustic piano, or an electric keyboard on the lower shelf, it might throw you off your Bach a bit. Then again, if you're playing classical, you're more likely to play it seated than standing, so it may not be an issue for you. (BTW, in case you're wondering, I'm not giving it the Jerry Lee Lewis treatment. I play very gently. ) One other flaw: Somehow, they've managed to design the upper shelf so that no matter how you adjust it, it won't be level. The angle is adjustable, but not finely enough. It's either tipped back a tad or forward. I shim the back of the keyboard with a couple of rubber door stops, and that works fine. But at this price, this should've been taken care of at the design stage. So, in a nutshell: lower shelf-- 5 stars; upper, 3-ish. (But keep in mind that this is my first stand. Perhaps other top shelves are worse than this one. )

Fantastic Purchase!
This item is a great purchase. My wife's 88 key keyboard was in need of a more substantial stand and this one fit the bill perfectly. Our daughter has the same stand and I was fortunate to find the same one for purchase. Great job! Great product!

Excellent
The height adjustment is continuous, but better than I expected. The height adjustment knobs do use friction to set the desired height, but there's also holes and a pin that lock in place about every inch and a half. The knobs are used to hold the stand height between holes, so it can never accidentally drop in height more than an inch and a half. Nice. Tighten the height adjustment knobs even when not between holes or the arms will be wobbly rather than rock solid. It breaks down to a compact size, but it involves unscrewing the knob on each side that holds the cross bar in place. Folding up an X type stand would definitely be faster if setup/breakdown time are an issue.

Sturdy and Stable
Really like this stand. It's very sturdy, easily adjustable (both height and width), and easy to assemble/disassemble. While playing the keyboard, there is no unwanted movement of the keyboard or stand. Nothing flimsy about this stand. Have only had it a couple weeks, but it seems like it will last many years.

Sturdy, easy to assemble, not perfect
Easy to assemble (no tools) and seems sturdy enough. A few small annoying things: The screws in the straps are M6 screws but my piano (Roland FP-10) uses M5 screws (I think). So I can't attach the straps to the piano without finding some M5 screws. I think others have had this issue. Maybe Rolands are unique but I think someone else said the same thing and has a Yamaha. Look at the review photos—no one knows what to do with the straps. The arms are very deep. My piano takes up about half the depth front to back. If you push the piano back, then the arms protrude into the room and your shins knock the crossbar. If you pull the piano forward then there's a lot of dead space behind it. I wish there was a version with shallower arms. This will work well for bigger, deeper equipment. There is no little lip on the front edge of the arms, so your equipment can easily be pulled off the front. It would be better if there was a small (1/4"" or even 1/8"") lip on each arm (a ""hand"", if you will) to keep equipment from pulling off the front edge. Generally this thing feels sturdy and will meet our needs but could be better. Maybe that's why it's less expensive than others. I'd still probably buy it again.

Great price for a two tier Z stand!
The assembly was insanely easy. No tools required. Just a little space to lay out the 5 main components and screw them together using the knobs that came packaged. Now this was bought for home use , and I never had another two tier keyboard stand before to compare durability, so not telling how it would handle gigging or really pounding on it. Mine currently holds a Alesis 61 key controller on the bottom and a mini Cobalt 5 and smaller string module on top with zero issues. Looks sharp as hell and if I decide to set it up to play in standing position, its will be as easy as loosening knobs and pushing a few locking buttons back in the holes. I was fortunate that the box it arrived in was in good condition and no parts were missing or smashed. I recommend this to someone needing space and a solid keyboard stand

Easy assembly!
Already pre assembled, it only requires you to screw on the middle part and that's it. You can easily adjust the height level. It feels sturdy, a plus for a headphone rest. Design wise, looks neat. Great for now. Photos show where the two screws and it's ring are suppose to be at. Arrived in small box, lightweight enough for those with trouble lifting. Easy assembly overall. Price is decent.

Overall the quality's okay, but the foot cap came broken, and their website is kind of hard to use.

Easy setup!
Easy to install and easy to adjust. I would ask Pyle to include extra screws to attach the different kind of keyboards to the straps. But other than that, exactly what I was looking for!
