The danish used to be wonderful, but the past few times I’ve gotten them, within two days they are completely dry and stale. This has been happening with all their bakery products for quite some time. They mold right away or they’re dry. Very disappointing since I’ve always bought all my groceries from target. But now I’m rethinking that.

" favorite day bakery raspberry danish"
I dislike that they rebranded the "favorite day bakery raspberry danish" now instead of it being packaged in a clear plastic container it is package in a brown very thin flimsy box, you can't see the entire danish now and once you open it, it doesn't have enough of the white cream frosting on top and since it's no longer in a plastic container it doesn't keep the air out completely so now the bread isn't that soft anymore. The quality of the danish has gone down. Nothing was wrong with it before, they should of kept it that way.

2 stars for the attempt. I was really hoping this would be like the Entenmann's raspberry Danish that I love and can't get in the middle of the country. Too much bread, dry, not enough filling or frosting. Don't waste your time. If you can't get the Entenmann's version, Kroger is a close second.

The old Archer Farms version was delicious. I want to like this. I keep hoping for a better batch. I love a good danish as a treat! This is not a good danish. Not sure what changed with their Favorite Day version but it’s a step backwards. Why bother with a blah, stale tasting dessert? I’ll save the calories and lack of nutrition for something enjoyable.
