The collection is shaped by a sustained engagement with the surrealist tradition and its fellow travellers: Rimbaud, Sade, Gherasim Luca, Alice Paalen Rahon, Magloire St. Aude. Formally, the work moves between compressed lyric fragments and expansive prose meditations, the latter articulating a poetics of analogy in which language breaks identity apart to release connections unavailable to ordinary logic. Elegies, dream-poems, and lyric inhabit the same atmospheric register throughout: a world of beautiful, corrosive uncertainty in which the self is perpetually in dissolution.
