Back in the day I loved playing Guitar Hero and Rock Band on the XBox 360, then moved on to other game types. When I finally fancied playing them again I had missed the chance of getting the wireless kit or the adapter that enabled the original kit work on an XBox One. I was so happy to see that someone had come to their senses and released a new bit of kit… the Riffmaster… but the price point initially put me off. Cut to a family get together where my nephew had one and I had a go on it on Rock Band 4…and then I found out that any previous Rock Band track purchases carry over… and I ordered a Riffmaster pretty much as soon as I got home! The Riffmaster is a great bit of kit and, after some game calibration, it plays really well… mostly. I say mostly as I like to strum up as well as down but for some reason an up strum doesn’t seem to register as well as a down strum. I don’t know what PDP used as a strum bar, but it doesn’t have the satisfying click the other guitar controllers had. The Riffmaster has a headset port which is a great feature as it means you can plug in headphones and have the music as loud as you want without annoying the neighbours. The build quality of the Riffmaster seems pretty solid so far, despite feeling fragile at times. It comes with a wireless dongle that you need to plug into your console to play, and PDP have tried to factor in that the dongle could easily be misplaced (when not in use) by building a dongle storage compartment into the Riffmaster, but, in order access the compartment you need to remove the pick guard. The trouble is the pick guard itself is very firmly attached and feels like it is going to break whenever you try to remove it. Overall I am very satisfied with the Riffmaster. I hope there is a version 2 that addresses the strum bar and dongle storage points… and I really hope PDP release a wireless drum kit too!

As I have been hankering to play some Rock Band after multiple console generations I got Rock Band 4 set up on my PS5 and realised I needed a new guitar as not only were my old ones for the wrong console now (Xbox 360) but they were extremely used and barely usable, I loved the base guitars with Rock Band 3 but these are basically upgraded versions of those. The buttons feel nice, the strum bar is quieter, it’s low latency wireless with an insane battery life, played about 24 hours so far over multiple days and I only charged it when I first got it, it’s still going somehow. While it may seem quite pricey for a controller, if you’re a serious player then this will do you well

Got this as a Christmas gift for my mom who always loved guitar hero rhythm games. She almost teared up seeing this and it works like a charm. 10/10

Excellent choice, works for ps5 pretty well. Kinda expensive, but totally worth it.

We haven't used it yet as it's a Christmas present for my partner. However the delivery service and packaging was perfect with no marks or dents. When opened it looked absolutely brilliant and easy to put together ! Looking forward to having a show down on Christmas lol.

Nearly impossible to active star power. Guitar nearly has to be up right to a 90 degree angle to get a chance to active star power.

Die Gitarre sieht gut aus ist gut verarbeitet und ist bequem zu tragen. Die Bundtasten brauchen allerdings etwas zu viel Kraft. Schnelle Soli per Hammer on und pull off sind damit nicht sehr einfach zu spielen. Vielleicht Leiern diese im Laufe de Zeit noch aus. Die Strum Bar dagegen macht bereits von Anfang an schon einen ausgeleierten Eindruck. Beim Anschlagen hat man keinen Widerstand. Da gefallen mir die mechanischen Schalter der alten RB und GH Gitarren besser. Eventuell gewöhnt man sich da noch dran. Die Verbindung klappt schnell und zuverlässig, auch die Akkulaufzeit ist sehr gut.

Ich hab den Ramsch erstmals nicht vertraut, muss aber sagen wow. Schneller Versand und bestens verpackt. Kann ich nur empfehlen!

Does exactly what you need it to do. A bit pricey but as there very limited options available makes sense

Eine Gitarre war bei Auslieferung bereits defekt. Die andere hat hin und wieder Verbindungsprobleme. Komplizierte Rückgabe Abwicklung für die defekte Gitarre. Die Strum Bar ist unzuverlässig und nicht präzise. Das war definitiv mein erstes und letztes Turtle Beach Produkt.

Super Ersatz für die Logitech und MadCatz Controller der Vergangenheit. Endlich wieder Rock Band 4 ;)

All working well so far and connected without a problem. Cant wait for the drum kit!

Hab früher viel Guitar Hero gespielt und muss sagen, dass dieser Controller der beste ist, den ich bisher hatte. Ist sein Geld wert. Macht in Fortnite eine super Figur. Klare Kaufempfehlung :)
