Samsung 2TB 990 PRO PCIe 4.0 NVMe Solid State Drive MZ-V9P2T0B/AM

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was super easy to setup! Just plug it into the PC screw it in and it's good to go. Set up my BIOS onto it and my PC turns on so quick now!! Would recommend to anyone still using a HDD

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product has the best of all worlds. The installation is very straightforward and not nearly as stressful as it would seem to swap out a smaller drive on a laptop. And once it's installed, it works like a dream. I can't imaging needing or wanting more speed, it writes files lightning fast, with low power and complete reliability. Once again Samsung is top of the industry; this drive works so well you never notice it until a half of a terabytes backup drive is suddenly copied and safely written before this review is written. 6 stars out of 5!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Usefull for bootup drive for faster start up, good for games with loading screens and faster downloads, it is consistent and the endurance for non-stop work with its heat sync is phenomenal, and I have not experienced much latency

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased a 990 pro 2tb to replace my failed sabrent on 02/2024. Have been running flawlessly and without any issues. Noticable speed increase. Temps stay relatively cool even without the heatsink. Comparability works very well with my motherboard, easy instructions to install. Very fast read and write speeds. Will be purchasing another Samsung drive for storage.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] all right for the compatibility man it went in minutes one screw popped it in there I was ready to run fast there's no latency problems with it works great thermals I've never had it overheat on the throughput and transferring files from the PS5 the SSD card and seconds and like I said great product lives up to all my expectations I recommend it to anyone who wants to have a fast dependable ssd with plenty of storage I play fps games haven't even filled up two terabytes and I have a ton of games on it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I upgraded to the Samsung 990 PRO NVMe SSD after running a 970 EVO Plus for years, and the difference is night and day. While the 970 EVO Plus was a rock-solid drive in its time, moving to PCIe 4.0 on the 990 PRO takes everything to another level. Sequential read and write speeds basically doubled—reaching up to ~7,450 MB/s read and 6,900 MB/s write. You can feel that speed immediately: -Windows boots practically instantaneously. -Massive file transfers and game installs finish in seconds. -In-game loading screens and texture pop-in are virtually nonexistent. -Compatible my Alienware with zero issues, detected instantly in the BIOS and runs at full PCIe 4.0 speeds. -I've had it running for over a year now, and its endurance and reliability have been rock-solid

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ive enjoyed a consistent user experience while using the 999 pro 4TB nvme drive in my laptop. Simple tasks like email, and surfing were never an issue. But adding in complex code and gaming. Thats where the device shines with exceptional thermal control, latency and extreme throughput. As I continue to pit the device theough rigorous use scenarios the endurance and capabilities continue to shine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] offers impressive read and write speeds. It instantly reduces loading times. Ideal for gaming and fast editing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The component is fully compatible with my system; it includes a heat sink, maintains optimal thermal levels, and operates without latency.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Honestly one of the best memory for my computer i have had it for 3 years and it is still holding strong

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great file transfer rate. Much faster than my old SSD's. I use it primarily for gaming so being able to move lage amounts of data quickly is important. I wish I would have bought more of them when I did.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very quick speeds on writing and reading, Linux distros load quickly. Have over a year now and no issues with them they are wonderful, will highly recommend even with higher speeds or there.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In many ways Samsung drives are now what ASUS has been mainboard-wise for me: rock solid. Ive read countless reviews and comparisons of NVME SSDs for PCI-E and I always come back to Samsung, since their a 100% reliable when you need them to be. My old 870 Evo is still in use in the PC of my wife and has done so without any quirks for over 5 years - if that aint endurance O dont know what is. My newer 9100 Pro is running in my laptop and I was super glad about the easy compatibility. Its booting up Windows there in no time, it just feels snappy and very responsive. This is helpful, since I like to multitask between several applications. Thermals have also been a no-brainer, never run into any issues like throttling or so. Im considering a PCI-E 5.0 NVME as my next upgrade for my laptop. In Samsung I trust!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pretty good for what I need. A little expensive but worth it. Sufficient storage and data available and very solid sturdy product. It definitely seems like it would take effort to break one. 4 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this SSD before the current supply issues forced prices to the moon. It's been exceptionally reliable and works great as a game drive in my Windows 11 Workstation. Temperatures and throughput remain consistent while using one of the high mass heatsinks provided with my motherboard. I would recommend the drive, but that recommendation comes with ignoring current prices.
