Used to be amazing -- Now, I do not recommend

This was my favorite maple syrup for a couple of years. Recently, for some unknown reason the company completely changed the recipe. The photo I've attached shows back when it was truly Bourbon Barrel aged and was a thick delicious maple syrup. Now, it is a very runny consistency and tastes like an overpowering synthetic bourbon.
