Sashé Boudreaux - by Coco McQ (Hardcover)

About the Book

Book Synopsis

Winner of the 2026 Eric Hoffer Award for Best Commercial Fiction and the First Horizon Award for Superb Debut Novel.

With an eye for fashion and the instincts of a sleuth, Sashé Boudreaux delivers hot meals to shut-ins and color consultations to the ladies of Cypress Grove, Louisiana-a charming bayou town of moss-draped oaks, porch swings, and gossip over beignets.

When a neighbor misses his Monday fried chicken and mashed potatoes, and a grim discovery surfaces at the local recycle drop-off, Sashé stumbles into a centuries-old mystery as dark and murky as the swamp. With her friends beside her, she uncovers a tragedy that ties forgotten crimes to present danger.

But in Cypress Grove, digging into the past can be deadly, and some will do anything to keep its secrets buried.

Will uncovering the truth heal Cypress Grove-or tear it apart? Can Sashé untangle the past before it claims another victim?

Filled with Southern charm, Cajun flavor, humor, history, and suspense, Sashé Boudreaux: Beignets, Bones & Buried Secrets is a mystery readers won't soon forget.

Perfect for fans of small-town mysteries, amateur sleuths, colorful characters, and stories where the past refuses to stay buried.
