Description
Discover our Sauza Hacienda Silver, a finely crafted tequila from one of Jalisco's best-known distilleries. This crystal clear spirit is rich in fresh blue agave flavor. The agave taste is the soul of any tequila, and in Hacienda Silver it is met by notes of green apple, jasmine and fine herbs with bitter citrus for a mouth-watering aftertaste. This versatile spirit can be drank as a shot, and also works perfectly in cocktails. Mix it with lime juice, triple sec and simple syrup for the ultimate margarita to enjoy with friends. Sauza Hacienda Silver is made from blue agave, using a special extraction process to keep the taste fresh, pure, and crisp. It's double-distilled in copper pot stills so the full flavor of the agave can shine through in every sip. Sauza has been at the forefront of pioneering tequila and a true champion of Mexican culture and its people. Launched in 1873, Casa Sauza is a distillery of "firsts". It was one of the first to export tequila, and also one of the first to put the name "tequila" on a bottle. Sauza is a fresh take on tequila for all to enjoy, one that welcomes everyone like they are part of the family. So raise a glass to the three dons -- Don Francisco Javier, Don Cenobio and Don Eladio -- and celebrate the spirit of revolution and the spirit of connection.

Not 100% agave, sadly.
Never buy this brand and tried it for the first time recently. Thought it fell flat, taste-wise, but better than bottom shelf tequila. When you can't find 100% agave anywhere on the bottle, it's a telltale sign that you're drinking a mixto tequila. Sauza Conmemorativo Añejo is significantly better and 100% agave. Go for that if you want something from Sauza.

Not 100% agave and you can tell
This is not a 100% Agave tequila and you can tell. If you'e going to use a bottled sugared up mixer to make a margarita go ahead and use this, but if you're using fresh citrus, spend a few bucks more and get something better.

Where has all the Silver gone?
Me and my whole family are solid Silver fans and have been for years. I find it to be a consistently quality product that's versatile, enjoyable & fun to have around the house. My only concern is that the last quarter of 2019 the 1.75 liter bottles have basically vanished from the shelves of all of the regular outlets in our area. I have tried numerous times to find out what the issue is and no one has a solid explanation. I flinch at the idea of switching it up to another distillers product, but it's that or going cold turkey! Any clues out there?

Quality of Sauza SilverTequila has substantially decreased.
I have been a Sauza Tequila consumer for some time. It appears that your distilling process has been modified lately as your Silver Tequila does not taste the same. It actually tastes like your drinking a "petroleum" product.

Alright
It's alright I prefer another type of your tequila for my drinks and needs. This one will do, but I won't buy again. I'll stick to the other and experiment with the rest.

I love this tequila!
I use to drink patron all the time. When things got tough I tried many other tequilas but none of them came close to the flavor of Sauza! Great for Margarita's or just by itself. Best if kept cold!
