Newly single, Annie never expected to have to start over. She'll miss a lot about her luxurious life, but she won't miss is living by her husband's capricious rules, or his stuck-up friends - particularly his arrogant (and unfairly gorgeous) best friend.

Dev's always had his life planned out for him - working for his father making big movies for even bigger money. He knows he's lucky, but he still yearns for someone to really see him, not just his family name and fortune - too bad the only woman who ever came close is his best mate's ex, and so firmly off-limits...

When Annie gets a chance to chase her dream, working as movie makeup artist she's elated, even knowing she'll be stuck on set with Dev every day. She expected him to ignore her, so why does he seem to invent reasons to be around her.., and why is she's starting to enjoy having him around?

When a fierce storm strands them on location, a remote Scottish island - their simmering chemistry soon explodes into fiery passion, but Annie is protecting more than her heart.

Will she risk everything she's built for a shot at forever?
