Severin - Zulu Dawn

This companion release of Cy Endfield's historical drama chronicles the British defeat at Isandlwana with clarity and gravity. Anchored by performances from Burt Lancaster and Peter O'Toole, the film rejects triumphalism in favor of tragic realism, capturing the blunders and tensions that led to catastrophe. An essential counterpoint to Zulu, the film probes the illusions of imperial certainty while honoring the complexity of both sides. Presented here in a comprehensive three-disc set with both versions of the film and archival supplements.
