New formulation SUCKS!
Oh Silk, what did you do? Why did you reformulate your unsweetened soy milk? It went from pleasantly passable to gag me with a spoon. The new version is AWFUL!

Horrible new formulas
The new formula has been ruined just like Silk did to the Vanilla flavor, just read the recent reviews. The addition of potassium iodine was so not necessary as one of the most disgusting TASTE ON THE FACE OF THE EARTH IS POTASIUM IODINE. That chemical aftertaste will linger on your tongue for hours. All these changes at silk was for profit only, when their products used to be so good I and everyone else would pay more just to bring them back. Silk is now garbage, stay away, far away.

Love the recent changes!
I have purchased the Organic Unsweetened Soymilk forever. Loved the taste and the protein. I am so happy to see that you've added even more nutrients especially iodine! Very happy to find it in a source that isn't salt or seaweed! Thank you, sincerely. Please don't ever stop making this product or degrade the quality at the expense of your consumers. You have a great product, and I am a customer for life.

Silk Vanilla Soy Milk regrettable quality change
Please bring back the previous formulation of Silk Vanilla Soy Milk. Despite shaking the bottom third of the carton is a viscous “goop” that is unusable. Why change a great product? This is simply horrendous. Silk corporation this a huge issue; you will lose revenue with this change!

Pretty good :)
It tastes great with cereal! Even unsweetened it's just slightly sweet, so I can't imagine how sweet the regular version would taste. Either way, it's not particularly better for my stomach than dairy milk personally, but I do prefer it and its aftertaste to cow's milk. Overall net positive for me :)

We appreciate you giving it a try! Happy the light sweetness and smooth aftertaste worked for you.

New version is not good
The dreaded day has arrived in my little corner of world - the teal carton of Silk Organic Unsweetened Soy Milk is gone and has been replaced by the green carton which is flimsy and contains a very different product. What was a rich creamy very drinkable milk alternative now has a chemical-like flavor, is not creamy, and doesn't froth. The new version also has 1 gram more protein than the old version, so the statements that nothing has changed are invalid. It absolutely changed, and sadly, for the worse.

"Silk" needs to change its name to "Chalky"
After trying the new version of Vanilla soy milk, and finding the chalky sludge at the bottom of my mug, I've been searching for a replacement that is similar to the blue carton recipe. I think I've found it! Rolling Hills Farm makes a vanilla soy milk that comes very close to the blue formula that's so sadly missed. But if I'm ever in need of a chalky, gritty, undrinkable liquid- Silk Vanilla Soy milk will be my first option.

Don’t need more protein
Not fond of the new, “higher protein”, product. And I can’t find what I’ve been using for years. 😡

Back to blue please
Please bring back the Bue box vanilla soy milk recipe. I have been enjoying that on my cereal and use it for chocolate milk, or with protein powder for years now and the Red box flavor just isn't as good. 5 stars for the old recipe Thank you,

Don't Buy!! Terrible!
I’ve been drinking silk soy milk for the last 10 + years. Here to co-sign everyone else that’s saying they changed the recipe. It used to be creamy, now it’s watery. I had to throw my chai tea latte out because it tasted horrible.

So good
I really like this soy milk. The taste is smooth and not too sweet, and it doesn’t have a strong soy smell. It works well with coffee, cereal, and smoothies. I also appreciate that it’s dairy-free, which is great for people who are lactose intolerant. The packaging is convenient, and the quality feels consistent. I would definitely buy it again.

Contains more nutrients
Great product; contains significantly MORE calcium and protein than oat/almond/coconut milks. Really appreciate the fact that there is no added sugar! And…it’s organic!

Silk Milk's "New Coke" style of Disaster!
I am completely shocked that somebody at Silk Milk proposed the idea of taking the much beloved recipe of Vanilla Silk milk and making it chalkier and giving it a weird after taste...and somebody else just thought that was brilliant! I've been a loyal customer for over 20 years, and I'm so sad about the demise of one of my staple grocery products. Because whatever concoction is in that maroon colored carton that says "Vanilla"...well, that ain't it! Why did they do it? Perhaps a competitor got a supply of Philip's Milk of Magnesia and decided to sneak it into Silk Milk as a form of corporate sabotage. If so, it worked like a charm!

Please change the vanilla soymilk back
I have been buying Silk vanilla soymilk for many years. I use it in my iced matcha lattes and iced lattes. I am disappointed in the formula change. Increasing the protien has ruined the taste and texture. The old formula only had 100 calories per cup and tasted so good! Please change it back! I'm sad that now I have to find another brand. Lost a loyal customer. 😮💨 I also used the organic unsweet for cooking and baking.

Expensive yet nutritional (I guess)
Scent of vanilla hits you right in the face however, the consistency is like watery milk.. Not a big fan of the watered down vanilla taste. The mixability is fine just needs to be well shaken before use.

Recipe has changed
Bring back the old recipe (blue carton) Vanilla soymilk that we all loved!!! The new red carton recipe has a weird flavor and different profile altogether. Even the consistency seems different... Why change a good thing?? Been a loyal drinker for over decade, and go through sooo many cartons in one month... Please give us the old Vanilla Soymilk back!!

Reformulation that no one wantsd
This was a staple in my home until its recent reformulation. The amount of sugar added now is unbearable and upped the calories per serving by 20%. I will be switching brands now

Worst Cap Ever.
Cap is the worst. Ridiculously too thin to grab on to. Opening the product is akin to building a Swiss watch with boxing gloves on. Clearly this company hates their customers.

Not buying more :(
New box and flavor do not look good or taste good. I also have been using vanilla silk for 10+ years and I now have terrible morning coffee.
