Not quite sure what’s up with the negative reviews because I have only had complete opposite experiences. I have purchased this bread a handful of times now. The last time I picked up 2 loaves and refrigerated (in a ziplock bag) one of them since the expiration date was quickly approaching and it still tasted yummy. I cannot leave it out long past the due date because it will mold. I do have to say, the last pick up I did, I noticed some of the loaves packaging were damp. I wonder if these loaves arrive to target frozen and that is why they don’t taste good when you refreeze them? Just a thought. Other than the loaves being shelf stable, the taste is great. The white part of the bread is always very soft and light to wear sometimes I accidentally rip the bread when taking it out. I do love how soft it is. It tastes better/fresher than the other loaves on the normal bread aisle. I definitely recommend this bread if you’re on the fence!

I’ve had this bread since February 4th. It is May 16. The bread has been opened and there are only three pieces left…. NO MOLD. TERRIBLE SIGN. If you’re against preservatives this is not for you. I stopped eating it about a week after I bought it and it’s just been sitting in my kitchen as a science experiment…. It’s been MONTHS, no mold, no smell, not stale. TERRIBLE

Great bread! Read favorable reviews and decided to try a loaf. Very pleased and will continue to purchase. Taste is close to homemade white, texpture is soft and palatable. Slices are quite large; just one cut in half ma1k7es a regular sized sandwhich. My 94 yr old mother loves this bread, and I can give her a sandwich without having to remove crusts of store-bought bread or baking my own at home. Only down6 side is the packaging, which is that b1rittle cellophane-type that is hard to close and easily torn.

I had high expectations for this bread, but it’s weird. It’s also not very sturdy, and it doesn’t taste great.

Love this bread! Super soft and my kids love it. Plain toasted or used for grilled cheese sandwiches.

This bread is delicious. It’s soft on the inside and the crust has a good chew. I find this bread has a bit of a nutty flavoring. It’s best for grilled cheese or toasted for sandwich. Makes great garlic bread as well.

This bread got mixed reviews in my house. My husband and I saw this bread in store while shopping. It was the only load of it on the table. It looked really good. Was very soft. So we bought it. My husband had it first and said he really liked it. Then I had it for a sandwich. The bread is very soft and fluffy but I did not care for the taste. I can’t put my finger on the taste but it wasn’t like a bland/unflavored like a regular loaf of white bread. Maybe sour? It’s not rotten or bad. They loaf is still good and fresh and my husband says it’s fine. So it’s just got a taste I don’t like.

I guess target freezes the bread so what I got was soggy and falling apart and the middle was frozen so trying to get the slice had ice all through. Just disgusting

My usual bread was out of stock so I grabbed this one. Like a nice rustic loaf of bread. Would buy again.

This bread is so soft, but at the same time makes excellent crunchy toast. The taste is great and I love the flour dusting on top. I haven't found any bread like this anywhere else!

This was a really good bread. It was soft, tasty and my kids loved it.

I read some of the other reviews about it being dry and I've purchased this bread many times and have never had that issue. Soft and tasty good quality bread for a decent price.
