Q: Is the Talc ingredient in this product, "U.S. Pharmacopeial Convention"-approved to be free of asbestos?
A: Thank you for your inquiry. Talc is a common ingredient that has numerous uses in food, cosmetics and medications. It is often used in tablet formulations in order to facilitate the manufacture process. The talc used in SlowFe does not contain asbestos. There are no significant safety concerns in using talc as formulated in SlowFe tablets, provided the product is used as directed by the product label. Prior to using a product, we recommend that consumers always check the list of ingredients printed on the pack, and follow the label instructions. If you have any concerns about a particular product, we would advise that you seek medical guidance.

Q: Would it help iron absorption if taking vitamin c along slowFe?
A: Hello! Slow Fe can be taken with or without food. Iron is absorbed best on an empty stomach, 1 hour before meals or 2 hours after meals. However, it can also be taken with a full glass of water or juice. Vitamin C can help iron absorb better in the body, but note that we do not have data on the impacts of taking Slow Fe along with vitamin C, so we recommend consulting with your healthcare provider on the appropriate regimen for you. As with any supplement or medication, we recommend you consult your healthcare provide prior to use if you have any medical conditions or are taking other medications and/or supplements. /Slow Fe Brand Team/

Q: what is the date of expiry for this batch of Fe supplement?
A: Expiration dates vary by package. Bust rest assured, you can expect a similar experience to in-store. It is unlikely but if you do have concerns after purchase, Target would be happy to exchange or refund in store.
