This last pack was flavorless, no one in the family enjoyed it. Some slices were almost see through it was sliced so thin while others in the pack were a lot thicker. Uneven cooking. No longer gluten free.

I finally found a company that consistently makes good bacon! Seems like every type of Smithfield’s bacon is really good! I am probably eating way too much bacon…but at 62 years old…I don’t care!😂😂😂

This is my favorite Bacon. It cooks up nicely every time. The quality is there.I love the thick cut. Target normally has a fair price on this compared to other stores. I highly recommend this bacon for any occasion.

Doesn’t even taste like bacon
I don’t understand why this had turned into the worst bacon ever. I have purchased it from various location and always been disappointed. It doesn’t matter if it is the raw bacon or the microwave kind, both varieties are awful. Definitely not expired, It’s just a gross product, it does not even taste like meat.

Smithfield Bacon was a pound of fat!
I recently purchased a one pound package of Smithfield Bacon. Unfortunately, when I went to use it, the package was mostly a mass of solid fat!I tried to salvage at least one meal, but the end result was very little product, which was tough and tasteless as well.I recall a similar problem with this brand, a few years ago. I rarely purchased it since. This experience has now totally soured me on Smithfield. I only regret that I didn’t take a picture of this product when I opened it.

If you need lard this bacon is for you. If you were looking for meat on the bacon , then you need to keep looking. Had to throw most of the package away.

I was hoping to purchase a package of bacon, instead I ended up with a pan full of rendered pork fat. There should be a standard for bacon to contain a minimum of 51% pork to fat. Won’t be buying this again :(

It’s a very good value for the amount of product that you get. I also enjoy that you can cook a few and then store the rest for later, because that means you get fresh bacon every time You Need it.

No expiration date
I have searched and searched this package of bacon and cannot find an expiration date. Without it, I can’t try it to know whether it’s delicious or not. I’ve looked all around the edge, and all over the surface, front and back, with the light from my phone. Nothing. I’m sad.

Thin as a piece of paper and not even cut longways
Opened package to make for family, bacon looked like it was just thrown in the package. Not even long ways like normal bacon is. All folded in circles. Very disappointed. Had to unwind it to make it.
