By jove, it works!

Now my monitor talks to my computer in the correct resolution. After months of trying to understand tech from geeks, found someone who spoke in simple terms and recommended a particular cable and fitting with a link to StarTech. Job done.

Bad Information

Unfortunately your chat line assistant recommended the wrong monitor cable. What is disappointing is the fact that he had the service tag number and the configuration of my desktop computer to refer to and still recommended the wrong cable. I expected that after consulting with your chat line help desk that I would not run in to this problem. Quite frankly I expected better.

No power delivery

Purchased to link Dell XPS13 laptop to Dell monitor with DP port. It works but too bad no power delivery, which means you need to take up another usb-c port to charge your laptop.

19/20 would buy again.

I have a Macbook Pro 16" [2019] and connect to a Dell U2414H monitor via a usb-c port. It glitches once every 20 connects or so where the screen will be either blank or blink a lot or partially connected. Pros: works 95% of the time Cons: works 95% of the time
