Book Synopsis

The Hangover meets Virgin River in this charming small town romance where one drunken Las Vegas mistake comes back to haunt her right before she's supposed to get her happily ever after...that is if that's still what she wants.

Five years ago Katie Ng got married. To a stranger. On a drunken dare in Las Vegas. When she woke from her alcohol- induced haze, she annulled the marriage and left without saying goodbye.

As the responsible eldest daughter, Katie knows now is the time to marry her boyfriend as everyone expects her to do. Except she discovers that she's legally still married to Nick, the stranger from Vegas. So she travels to Nick's small North Carolina town to have him sign divorce papers...and gets stranded by a sudden storm.

Suddenly she sees the guy she met five years ago, and realizes that she doesn't have to settle for a life--or a person--that looks great on paper but she doesn't feel it in her soul. It's just that Nick is ready to sign the papers, and she technically has a fiancé back home. But what if Nick is exactly what she needs?

About the Author

Cynthia Timoti writes fun, sexy multicultural romcoms with plenty of heart and snark, where happy endings are always guaranteed. She was born and raised in Jakarta, Indonesia, and moved to Australia when she was seventeen. She spent too many years working in finance, even though numbers aren't her strongest suit.

When Cynthia's not writing, she's probably trying to make a dent in her TBR pile, hunting for the perfect cup of bubble tea, and collecting pretty notebooks that she'll never use. Cynthia currently resides in Melbourne, Australia, with her husband and two sons.
