Description
EPA or Extra Pale Ale is the beer that started it all. Back in 1986, before craft brewing was even cool, Summit Brewing Company Founder Mark Stutrud set out in St. Paul, MN, to make craft beers inspired by old-world brewing traditions and ingredients. Still independently owned and operated today, Summit EPA is our #1 beer.
This flagship brew is light bronze and full of caramel and biscuit flavors and is balanced with a juicy citrus hop bite. Summit has crafted EPA to be a high-quality and consistent craft beer out of respect for the hard working folks who enjoy our beer.
EPA pairs well with grilled meats, soft ripened cheeses, cheddar cheese, and fried seafood.
*Summit is proud of the medals we have earned with Extra Pale Ale. World Beer Cup®, Classic English-Style Pale Ale Silver - 2014, Silver - 2012, Gold - 2010 and the Great American Beer Festival®, Classic English-Style Pale Ale Silver - 2017, Gold - 2016, Bronze - 2014, Silver – 2010
