Great outdoor recycling solution
We put 3 of these outside for recycling. They keep out both animals and rain. Wind hasn’t been an issue either. Also put one on our back porch as an outside garbage. We don’t put food in there, just general trash that accumulates. They are so attractive and sturdy. The lid design is clever - easy to open even with your hands full but stays shut tight. They were also super easy to put together. I had all 4 together in less than 30 minutes. Shipping from Target was quick. Definitely would recommend.

Outdoor trash can
I loved these trash cans for my patio and by the pool because they lock closed perfectly and the trash pandas can’t get in and make a mess. They were great for 1 year/season (outside), sadly one side of the plastic hinge of the lid is already cracked which makes it impossible to lock closed.

Try not to overfill it!
We have this outside our back door for diapers which is so convenient! It holds a ton, which can make the trash a bit too heavy for myself, but my husband takes it to the bin. The only thing I dislike is how hard it can be to get the trash bag out once it’s full. If you overfill it at all, it’s extremely hard to pull out of the can and the plastic sometimes rips on the edges of the can. We usually have to tip it on its side and then pull the bag out.

Looks great but major design flaw
Looks great but the top of the can closes down on the garbage bag to keep it secure and rips it open. Used the can for a party this weekend and all three garbage bags we used ended up ripped.
